Multidisciplinary artist with a predominant focus on analog and digital collage.

She was born in the central montainous of the Caribbean island. The rural enviroment in which she grew up, gave her easy access to nature. The diversity of flora and fauna made her cultivate a special curiosity and appreciation. The explorations of nature’s shapes and colors, ended up being the reason why she became interested in creative thinking. At a very young age, she unexpectedly won the bronze medal at the World Children's Picture Contest held by the IE-NO-HIKARI Asociation of Japan in 1997. This achievement marked a turning point, opening the posibility of pursuing visual arts as a life project. Since her chilhood, she was fascinated by the power of images and the ability to tell stories through visual compositions.

Claudio’s admiration for nature, the transient and the duality of all things has consistently inspired her work. Spontaneity is key in her creative process, from precision image cutting to creating digital compositions by incorporating elements sourced from the web. The act of cutting images by hand and combining them in unexpected ways became a method to transform chaos into something meaningful. She creates specific spaces with the aim of harmonizing them in some way, shaping a new narative. Most of her works explore themes such as surrealism, identity, the subconscious and ancestral memory. 

She currently lives and works in Cayey, Puerto Rico.

Artista multidisciplinaria con enfoque predominante en la técnica del collage análogo y digital.

Nació en la región central montañosa de la Isla caribeña. A su corta edad, sorpresivamente, obtuvo el premio de bronce en el World Children's Picture Contest de la asociación IE-NO-HIKARI de Japón, en el año 1997. Un logro que marcó un antes y un después, la posibilidad de tomar las artes visuales como proyecto de vida. Desde su infancia, se sintió atraída por el poder de las imágenes y la capacidad de contar historias a través de composiciones visuales. 

Su admiración por la naturaleza, lo efímero y la dualidad de todas las cosas, han sido siempre fuente de inspiración. La espontaneidad es la principal herramienta en su proceso creativo, desde cortar imágenes meticulosamente, hasta la creación de composiciones digitales incorporando elementos encontrados en la web. El proceso de cortar las imágenes manualmente y combinarlas de forma inesperada, se convirtió en un mecanismo para darle un nuevo sentido al caos. creando espacios específicos con la intención de armonizar en cierto modo y con ello contar una nueva historia. Sus creaciones, en su mayoría reflejan diversos temas como: el surrealismo, la identidad, el subconsciente y la memoria ancestral.

Actualmente  vive y trabaja en Cayey, Puerto Rico.
